You can call me Cory or Coco.
Why would I be a good proofreader for you?
I'm an expert in language, and have experience as an academic, so understand the needs of those producing academic works.
I have a bachelor's degree in linguistics, during which I also received training in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). I hold a master's degree and PhD in archaeology, where I researched the origins and evolution of language in our species. I have published my own research in peer-reviewed journals, and have published as part of a team.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), and am currently undertaking their training courses in proofreading, including a specialised course on proofreading theses and dissertations.
I love transforming written language into the tidiest version it can be, and hope I can do that for you. If you'd like to learn more about me, follow me on Twitter (@Palaeocory) to get to know me better!
