I work to make your text ready for submission. This includes correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity (such as in word choice), and consistency in language and formatting.

 

I don't offer suggestions for reworking structure, improving content, or rewriting passages (though I may offer some helpful ways of rephrasing things for flow, or offering a word that would fit better).

Proofreading is the final stage in the publishing chain, making sure everything is perfect and ready to go to print or submit for review or grading.
